This photo doesn't really do it justice as it is situated on the top of a mountain and to the left is the ocean. From the right you get a great (albeit a smoggy one) of downtown La. I love this place. The architect is Richard Meir and it took around 10 years and $2 billion to complete. The buildings are clad in Italian marble, ceramic coated metal panels, and glass. Great art collection. They have Rembrandts, Monets, and my favorite, Van Gogh's Irises. The best thing about this place is it's free. Just have to find parking, which can be a bitch.
